1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Gegir Apartments website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gegir Apartments.

2. Booking and Reservations

2.1 Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from Gegir Apartments with your booking details and payment confirmation.

2.2 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the booking process. Any errors or omissions may result in booking cancellation or additional charges.

2.3 Age Requirement

The primary guest must be at least 18 years old and provide valid government-issued identification upon check-in.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic bank transfers. All payments are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

3.2 Payment Schedule

Payment in full is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. For extended stays (30+ days), alternative payment arrangements may be available upon request.

3.3 Additional Fees

Additional fees may apply for services such as:

• Premium cleaning service (CAD $120)
• Late check-in (after 10 PM)
• Damage deposits (refundable upon inspection)
• Pet fees (where applicable)

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Guest Cancellation

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before check-in are eligible for a full refund minus processing fees. Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in are subject to a one-night charge.

4.2 Host Cancellation

In the rare event that we must cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund and assistance in finding alternative accommodation.

4.3 No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to check in without prior notice will be charged for the full reservation and the booking will be cancelled.

5. Check-in and Check-out

5.1 Check-in Times

Standard check-in is between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Early or late check-in may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.

5.2 Check-out Times

Check-out is before 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available subject to availability and additional charges.

5.3 Key and Access

You will receive detailed check-in instructions 24 hours before arrival. Loss of keys or access cards may result in replacement charges.

6. Guest Responsibilities

6.1 Property Care

Guests are responsible for treating the property with care and respect. You will be liable for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

6.2 Occupancy Limits

The maximum occupancy for each apartment is clearly stated in the listing. Exceeding this limit may result in immediate termination of the booking.

6.3 Noise and Conduct

Guests must respect neighbors and maintain reasonable noise levels, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Disruptive behavior may result in immediate eviction without refund.

6.4 Smoking Policy

All apartments are strictly non-smoking. Smoking violations will result in additional cleaning charges and potential eviction.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Limitation of Liability

Gegir Apartments' liability is limited to the amount paid for your booking. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

7.2 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that guests obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover unexpected circumstances, medical emergencies, or trip cancellations.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.

9. Force Majeure

Gegir Apartments will not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, or public health emergencies.

10. Compliance with Laws

These terms comply with Google Ads policies and Canadian consumer protection laws. All advertising and marketing practices follow industry standards for transparency and fair dealing.

11. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Modified" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ottawa, Ontario.
